Exercise 2: LINE

The four line examples here represent a design of curved thin ink lines (upper left), thin straight ink lines (upper right), thick straight pencil lines (lower left) and organic contour ink lines (lower right). All the lines had to touch at lest two sides of the paper; for the peacock, the solution was to have all the lines connecting to each other so they eventually touched two sides. It is amazing what can actually be done with such strict specifications. This exercise was a great visual challenge.
